Work Experience

2023 - Present

K-6 Mathematics Tutor

After a couple of months of tutoring, I was able to increase one of my client's grades from the 60s to 90s. I did this by tailoring weekly worksheets for the tutee to complete. I also earned a 20 percent raise within those first few months.

2024 - Present

Lifeguarding

I work as a Camp Lifeguard, which is a specialized lifeguarding position surrounded around ensuring child safety and responding to emergencies. I utilized this position to lead a team of fellow lifeguards to teach learning exercises for the children at the camp. As a lifeguard, I am capable to perform pediatric and adult CPR as well as being able to perform waterfront saves.

2024 - March

Freelance for Digital Tech Company

I spent a couple of months managing the finances and budget boards for an online, digital technology company. This included keeping track of transactions, jotting down unusual activity, and ensuring that the money chart was organized.

2023 - 2026

Mamaroneck High School

I attend Mamaroneck High School, I currently have a 4.0 GPA , and take all of the hardest available courses. For example, this year I am enrolled in 4 AP classes and 1 honors class. Next year I will be taking 5 AP classes.

July - August, 2024

Sienna Dual Enrollment Program | Computer Science

Last year, I took a computer science course for credit. This was a dual enrollment program with Siena College, where I received 3 college credits my Sophomore year.

June - July, 2024

Brown University | Course in Molecular Biology

Over the summer, I took a molecular biology course at Brown University. It was a one-week intensive course of study where I learned how to hone many skills a microbiologist is required to have.

July - August, 2024

Georgetown | Course in Pre-Med

Over the summer I also took a pre-medical course at Georgetown University. This was a one-week intensive study course where I practiced various skills associated with medicine and surgery. 

High School Involvement

American Heart Association Club Founder & President

Through bake sales and fundraising events, I've helped raise over $500 to support the organization. Furthermore, I have recruited a total of 70 students, 15 of which are consistently present and engaging during meetings. As club, we have also created and shared infographics about heart health throughout school to educate students/staff.

ACE Tutoring Club President

As president, I spoke with the Middle School teachers to see which students needed tutoring and in which subjects. From this, I lead a biweekly group of high schoolers to tutor middle school kids. Since becoming president, I've increased membership from 5 to 10 high schoolers and from 8 to 11 middle schoolers.

Girls Who Code Club President

I have helped raised over $100 for the club at my high school and for the organization. Set up a booth at a district-wide event called STEM-TASTIC—through this we were able to educate elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, and high schoolers about the opportunities available in the field of technology.

Mental Health and Impact Committee President

I have helped lead a group of students and teachers to research alongside each other ways to improve the atmosphere at my high school. With school board approval, we are able to create a study document for underclassmen to better manage their time and study more effectively, which was an issue that led to stress.

Transfer Orientation Program (TOP) Ambassador

The TOPs Ambassadors are a group of students at Mamaroneck High School whose goal is to help acclimate new and incoming students to the school. We do this by interacting with students and hosting social events. During my time, I have been able to help 15 students.

FBLA Involvement

NYS State Leadership Conference Attendance

For the past three years, I have attended the NYS SLC. During these events I have participated in competitions, workshops, and networking events. This year, I am planning on running for a state position: State Vice President for District 3S.

ML Career Presentation 

For the middle school level, I placed 1st place for giving a presentation on my future career of choice. This presentation included my future career's description, education requirements, average salary, and job outlook.

Data Analysis

For the high school level, I placed 3rd place two years in a row for giving a presentation based on my assessment for a fictional company. This included analysis of the data given to me, understanding market trends, and putting out projections for the future of the comany.

FBLA Honors Society

I have been a part of the FBLA Honors Society for two years now. It is a representation of my community-oriented spirit and leadership within the FBLA community.

Mamaroneck Chapter of NYS FBLA Social Media Specialist

As the Social Media Specialist, I was in charge of posting events, important announcements, and updates regarding my high school's chapter of FBLA. Through social media, I was able to increase the number of followers for the Instagram page by 30 people.

NYS District 3S Event Planner

As the District Planner for District 3S, my duties were to schedule events for my district in order to promote teamwork and community bonding for schools within the district. I planned two separate trips to Dave & Busters.

2022 - 2023

Academic | Tiger's Den Grant

As a freshman in high school, I secured a grant from my school district to turn an empty space within the high school into a hub for student productivity and social interaction. This grant amounted to over $5,000. This space was named the "Tiger's Den". The Den has become a vibrant community space–at any given time, there are 5-10 students in the space. Also many different clubs host meetings in the Den.

Non Academic | MAA Award

For the past couple of years I have participated in playing Varsity Girls Golf. Just last year, my coach titled my name with the MAA award, which is a coaches award for the most dedicated and leadership-driven member on the team. I am now the captain of the Varsity Girls Golf team.

Podcast | Health Curious

Over a year ago, I realized my interest in medicine and the way people my age start managing their medical expenditures. Stemming form this, I constructed a podcast in where I interviewed 8 different people from all walks of life asking, in detail, what their experiences have been like dealing with American healthcare.

OCRA | Culturally Appropriate Seedling Kits

During my freshman year I joined the Original Civic Research and Action program at my high school. Since then, my partner and I have been developing an initiative in collaboration with the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force and the CEO of Victory Farms to make food distributions more culturally appropriate. Our solution: seedling kits.

Grassroots Grocery Student Ambassador

As a Grassroots Grocery Student Ambassador, it is my duty to help plan/execute share table events for underprivileged communities in the Bronx. These events typically occur around the holidays when food is needed the most.

Larchmont/Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force Volunteer

Ever since I was in 6th grade, I have been volunteering at my town's local food pantry. I routinely help with food distribution at the pantry and have sought to have a greater role within this organization. My OCRA project also correlates with this initiative.
